Mayo College

In Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, Mayo College is a residential public school for boys. Richard Bourke, the 6th Earl of Mayo, who was also the Viceroy of India from 1869 to 1872, created it in 1875. This school is one of India's oldest public boarding schools.

Mayo College is recognized as one of the world's best-known boarding schools and is affiliated with the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). There are 12 boarding houses in the school - 8 senior houses, 1 holding house and 3 junior houses, which are home to over 800 Class IV to XII students.
