Col Brown Cambridge School

Col Brown Cambridge School, which has been around for 93 years, has gone a long way. It was founded in 1926 largely for Indian boys during the pre-Independence era, and its alumni were, as they are today, from prominent families. The boys began when they were 5 and 6 years old, and by the time they graduated, they were well-behaved gentlemen. People opted to send their boys to a boarding school to learn discipline, which is, of course, the need of the hour. Today's youngsters require boarding school more than ever before, as it provides them with a safe haven away from numerous outside influences. We passionately believe in the ideals of truth, honesty, respect for the elderly, parents, and family, as well as the rule of law.These ideals are at the heart of Indian culture. Our boys have always been able to relate to all of these key beliefs, and we believe they have done exceptionally well in life. They work in the military, government, research, medicine, engineering, business, construction, and education, among other fields. Brownians can be found in every nook and cranny of the globe. I hope they remember everything we've taught them, especially our late Principal Col (Dr.) T.F. O'Donell's words, "Eat well, sleep well, work hard, play hard, and above all, be a gentleman."

We are celebrating our 93rd anniversary this year and remembering those who have gone before us with fondness. Whether you are a student or a teacher, Col. Brow School is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. On a personal level, I've probably received more than I've probably given. The voyage has been interesting, full of episodes and happenings, all of which I treasure and for which I have happy memories. All of this would not have been possible without my sons, supportive parents, and a fantastic team.
