St. Thomas Boys School

I take this opportunity to welcome you, and your child back to St. Thomas' Boys' School for another academic year. For those who are new to our school community, I would like to extend a special welcome. The Year ahead will be filled with many challenges and exciting opportunities for you as parents, we as teachers, and for the students.

The school's mission is to develop a school, home and community partnership which promotes knowledge, respect and responsibility. Parents, as well, are an integral component in their children's education. It is important that they work hand-in-hand with the school as partners. As partners it is imperative that we share information about your child. We encourage you to visit the school as often as possible and contact teachers on a regular basis if you have concerns or questions. As partners we will live by the African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child". As educators, we teach, while our students learn to become literate and productive citizens of the twenty-first century.
