Nangalia Pokarmal Educational Society established Modi Public School, Siliguri, in 2014 with a dream, a dream to encourage children to give their best in an attempt to realise their dreams. At Modi Public School. Siliguri, we play a pivotal, proactive role in nurturing vulnerable young minds. We want to develop the best that is hidden in a child and to encourage the child to explore and revel in the joy of learning.

Our vision is to work in partnership with our students, parents and the community at large to create a positive and inclusive environment for high quality learning and teaching where everyone is valued and respected. We aim to focus on learning beyond the classroom… The synergy between the school, its students and parents is important.

Our school is filled with enthusiastic students willing to learn, supportive parents interested in their children’s education, and a dedicated professional staff committed to providing the students with a quality education. Rote learning is discouraged. The school environment promotes order, independence, a love for learning, a connection to the world and a sense of social responsibility. The school believes and encourages in providing equal opportunity to the children. The school justly provides an infrastructure where children can done their skills in art & craft, dance, music, culinary, games etc. It’s learning beyond the classroom. Our effort is to integrate technology and its range of application ‘throughout the classroom’ in an attempt to improve the quality of learning instruction.
